To celebrate...
... being the guest sponsor on Stamp Something from now till the 19th of March, all shipping on RIRS will be $1.00!!!!!!!! Yep, even if you buy both sheets :o)
(click on photo for a larger version) This is an 8" x 10" sheet of deeply etched, high quality red rubber, untrimmed and unmounted. These images are in a casual sketchy style and were gathered and tweaked from antique child readers, and old asst. volumes, for my own stamping enjoyment. I wanted to share them with you too :o) Each sheet comes to you in a clear plastic sheet protector for a three ring binder with an index sheet like the one shown. See below for 'Stamping & Storage Tips'
Did you know?!
10% of the profits from each stamp sheet are donated to charity. From the Pets sheet to animal welfare, from the Childhood sheet to orphan care and from the Garden sheet to natural environment renewal!

QUALITY RUBBER
Rare Image rubber sheets are pressed by I Brake For Stamps and the quality is unsurpassed - you will never need to worry about them tearing when you take them off your blocks, I've left plenty of room between images for trimming, and it's true - they are so thick you can stamp without cushion and get a wonderful impression!! (that's a quarter in the photo above)
Order with complete confidence!
No worries - your ordering and contact info is always confidential and will never be sold, traded or exchanged for any purpose.

TRIMMING: RIRS have ample rubber on the back in addition to the image depth, so the easiest way to cut them is with a pair of KAI scissors.
MOUNTING: Acrylic blocks with Tsukineko Tack n' Peel applied will provide the perfect amount of cushion for stamping, but it won't hurt anything to apply extra cushion if you want to, or just use double-sided Scotch poster tape on your acrylic blocks.
INKING: Of course you can use any ink you want to stamp, but you'll retain the most detail possible if you skip the runnier inks like Distress and chalks, which are wonderful but will bleed into your paper fiber a bit. I like Staz-On for black and Stampin' Up! or Adirondack for color.
Also, start with a light inking and stamping hand and adjust from there.
STORING: Cut a piece of white poster board slightly smaller than the index sheet, apply permanant double-stick Scotch tape where you want the images to be (pressing the tape edges down firmly), and then stick the cut-out rubber on this. It will slide into the page protector provided, the index sheet facing the front and the rubber facing the back, then just file your RIRS into a binder!
